My Career Story in Brief

From a young age, I was captivated by the marvel of aeroplanes and dreamt of becoming an aeronautical engineer. However, during my university years, I realised my childhood ambition wasn't feasible and chose to study Agricultural Engineering instead.

Despite this shift, my love for technology remained unwavering. My curiosity for technological products only grew stronger during my university days, driving me to immerse myself in technology news and global advancements.

In 2018, I volunteered with Flair Underwear Limited as a Project Manager and Digital Marketer. Implementing the sales rep idea led to the recruitment of over 250 sales representatives across five universities in southwest Nigeria, significantly boosting our sales to over 5000 units monthly.

By 2020, I was eager for new challenges, which led me to explore data science and product design. Although colour mixing proved challenging for me, my analytical thinking naturally steered me towards product management—a field I quickly grew to love.

That same year, I joined Grazac and Grazac Academy as a Project Manager. My significant achievement was aiding over 3000 students in acquiring tech skills and connecting them with job opportunities.

In March 2021, I became a Product Manager at Spaceet, where I developed a space booking platform tailored for the African market. Later that year, I transitioned into the financial sector with Payercoins, a cryptocurrency gateway infrastructure product for businesses. Within six months, we achieved 500 user signups and facilitated $100,000 in transactions.

Recognizing the need for continuous growth, I moved to Syarpa in 2022 as a Fintech Product Manager overseeing remittance products. During my tenure, we saw over 5000 signups and $1 million in transactions within a year.

In 2023, I joined Polaris Bank as a Lending Product Manager and USSD Product Manager. By June 2024, I was appointed Head of Digital Products, where I successfully led a dynamic product team and significantly increased the bank's revenue.
